The 30/60/90/120 maintenance of a vehicle refers to the recommended auto maintenance schedule that is suggested by your car’s manufacturer. For most vehicles, the recommended maintenance occurs for every 30,000 miles that a car is driven.
It is important to know what the factory scheduled maintenance entails for your Lexus. Typically, at the 30/60/90K checks an auto repair center checks the oil levels and changes them, replaces cabin air filters in your car and check and replace spark plugs as needed. Under the hood, fluids such as the transmission fluid, brake fluid, windshield fluid and coolant are topped off.
Lastly, it is important to ensure that your tires are balanced and rotated and that the timing belt / chain on your vehicle is checked and replaced if necessary. Typically a car’s timing belt needs to be replaced around 90,000-100,000 miles. Once these services have been administered your car is inspected from bumper to bumper to ensure that no additional repairs are needed.
